Refunds, deposits, and rescheduling

Eligibility overview

Fees for audit and review engagements are tied to reserved reviewer time and document-room preparation. Refunds depend on when cancellation occurs relative to the agreed kickoff date and how much work has already begun.

Deposits

Full Ledger Controls Audits typically require a 40% deposit to reserve the kickoff window. Shorter engagements may use a 50% acceptance invoice. Deposits are credited against the final fee when the engagement completes as scoped.

Cancellation by the client

• More than 14 days before kickoff: Deposit refunded minus a documented administrative fee of NT$8,000, unless work on scoping materials has already begun at your request.
• 7 to 14 days before kickoff: 50% of the deposit may be retained to cover reserved calendar time.
• Fewer than 7 days before kickoff, or after kickoff: Deposit is non-refundable. Fees for work already performed are payable based on hours and deliverables completed.

Rescheduling

One reschedule with at least 7 days’ notice is usually accommodated without charge, subject to reviewer availability. Repeated reschedules may require a new deposit or revised fee letter.

No-shows

If scheduled working sessions are missed without notice, the related day or session fee remains payable. We will offer one courtesy rebooking where capacity allows.

Work already started

Once sample testing, interviews, or draft findings have begun, fees for completed stages are non-refundable. Unused future stages may be cancelled under the timelines above, with a revised invoice for work performed.

Partial refunds

If we mutually reduce scope after kickoff, we issue a credit for undelivered stages only. Credits are calculated from the fee letter’s stage breakdown, not from informal estimates.

Non-refundable items

• Completed findings packs, health memos, investor packs, and walkthrough annotations already delivered
• Third-party costs pre-approved in writing (for example, specialised translation of evidence folders)
• Administrative fees expressly stated in the engagement letter

Refund process and timing

Email hello@dataflowgateway.digital with your engagement reference, reason for the request, and preferred contact. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method where possible, or by bank transfer to the paying entity, within 14 business days after approval.

Cancellation by Lighthouse Ledger Review

If we must cancel for reasons within our control, you receive a full refund of amounts paid for undelivered work, or a rebooked date at your option.

Exceptions

Statutory rights that cannot be waived under Taiwanese law remain available. Engagement letters may include additional terms for multi-entity programmes; those letters control if they expressly differ from this page.
